Catering and Hospitality Facilities - Melton Mowbray
Client - Brooksby Melton College
Hill Lawrence were appointed to provide mechanical, electrical and BREEAM consultancy for the Catering Facilities at Brooksby Melton College. The building comprises of 2 floors with classrooms, teaching kitchens, restaurant area, lobby area and offices.
The mechanical services comprise of gas fired boiler and wet radiator heating system, VAM units, BMS controls system. The electrical services include lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, security systems and photovoltaics. The building achieved a BREEAM Excellent certification.

6 Queen Street - Leeds
Hill Lawrence were appointed to provide mechanical and electrical consultancy for the new build office block at 6 Queen Street, Leeds. The building comprises of 6 floors with reception lobby, open plan office spaces, ancillary areas and roof terraces, totalling 71,649 square feet. The building achieved BREEAM Excellent certification.
The mechanical services comprise of VRF heat recovery system, electric panel convector heaters, electric water heaters, car park ventilation and a BMS controls system was provided. The electrical services include LG7 and feature lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm system, Photovoltaics and access control/security systems. Generator back up was provided to life safety systems including the fire fighting lift.

Hill Lawrence were employed for the full mechanical and electrical services design on the ground floor of BT Judd Street.
This was an overhaul of existing aged offices and exchange equipment to an open plan feature café area, new meeting rooms and agile working areas with exposed services and feature lighting.

Plot 8 - Inverness Campus
All Saints Court, 228-bed residential block
Client - Leeds Trinity University
Hill Lawrence were appointed to carry out the full mechanical and electrical services design for the All Saints Court, multi-residential building at Leeds Trinity University.
The 228-bed residential block includes en-suite bedrooms, communal kitchens, ground floor, lounge, games room and living spaces.
The mechanical services include gas fired boilers and radiators with dedicated ventilation systems to bedrooms, kitchens, common rooms and toilets. A BMS system was designed and installed providing control to all mechanical systems and enabling monitoring of electrical systems. The electrical services include LED lighting, emergency lighting, external lighting, small power, fire alarm system, lighting protection, lifts, access control systems and CCTV design.
