Hill Lawrence was appointed to provide mechanical and electrical consultancy for the
relocation of Fujitsu’s computer research and development facility in Warrington.
The building comprises open plan computing hall, dedicated server rooms, offices and
ancillary areas.
The mechanical services comprise VRF close control downflow units, ventilation and
domestic hot and cold water services. The cooling system is designed to cater for an
equipment heat gain of 1000 W/m²
The electrical services comprise power distribution units (PDU’s), in rack uninterruptible
power supply (UPS) systems, analogue addressable fire alarm system, access control
and CCTV systems, LG7 compliant lighting and emergency lighting.
